General Tiberius Solo, one of the Commanders of the New Republic’s Army and the son of famous Founder of the New Republic and War Hero Han Solo, has voiced out concern over the Seminar on “The Empire” while conducting an official visit to view the new Nano-Ionic Technology Lab at the University of Naboo.

General Solo, as heir to one of the Republic’s founding families, has voiced concern over the forthcoming Seminar while on the way here.

In the New Republic, General Solo has also served as a consultant in the United Galactic Ministry of Education in addition to his military career, and has been deeply involved with the fields of education in the New Republic.

“I do not see the necessity for such a seminar in contributing to the debate of future generations. As far as I am concerned my father fought hard against the Empire and I feel that my job is to prevent anything like the Empire from happening again. With that discussion must stop.” said General Solo resolutely.

Tears welled in his eyes as General Solo went to the Memorial of his maternal Grandmother, the one-time Queen of Naboo and illustrious senator Padme Amidala. “The Empire was a scourge upon the history of the galaxy for as long as it existed, and I find with mixed regret that my heritage is undoubtedly intertwined with its dark history.” General Solo’s Maternal Grandfather is of course the notorious Imperial protege Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader, till today still the most controversial Jedi/Sith that has ever been written about.

The seminar has come upon a new wave of historiography revolving around this controversial figure, as judgment is increasingly divided as to the nature of his rule during the Imperial era. For many, he was willingly the Emperor’s lackey and the Sith were a scourge to the universe, and to others, the Sith, including the Emperor himself, were a misunderstood force that in addition to seeking vengeance for their centuries-long disenfranchisement from galactic life, sought to piece together what they saw as the weak and fragmented Senate of the Old Republic by coup if necessary.

“It is my hope that this Seminar is discontinued as soon as possible.” voiced the General. “Intellectual debate of this sort is redundant and repulsive.”

The University of Naboo one of the finest universities in this galaxy and others, this year, we start off a glorious new year under the leadership of our new Chancellor, the veteran Galactic Senator Jar Jar Binks. This year we are going to host one of the most important historical symposiums ever, entitled simply, "The Empire", we are going to look back on that controversial era.

This blog has been specially created to advance knowledge and understanding of one of the best institutions of learning in the entire universe. Today, we will introduce our venerable Chancellor, Jar Jar Binks.

Chancellor Binks was already known for a stellar political career, in which his honesty, integrity and straightforwardness were unquestionable. But few forget the all-Galactic success story that defined his life.

Chancellor Binks was born and bred in the noble Gungan tribe of Naboo itself. As a lowly youth, Chancellor Binks sought to overcome the dire circumstances of his birth, and dedicated his life to adventure and indeed, went on one of the greatest adventures himself, when he met a young lad back then known as merely Anakin Skywalker, father of current Jedi Council President Luke Skywalker, and the controversial founder of the Empire known as Darth Vader. The legendary Pod race that Chancellor Binks took part in alongside Young Skywalker was one of the most celebrated sporting events in the history of the Galactic 500, and remains a landmark of Galactic racing fans worldwide. In that race the two defeated the mighty Sebulba, and set a new landmark sporting record.

Chancellor Binks as a youth also joined the Gungan Grand Army, and served valiantly in the battle upon the Separatist Droids on Naboo itself, where he valiantly wrestled an enemy cannon before it could destroy his own troops.

Later on, Chancellor Binks would become an important Senator in the first Galactic Senate itself, even though the onset of the Empire would sadly interrupt his political career for the next two decades, Chancellor Binks has proven in the New Republic with his inspired leadership of the University of Naboo, that he can and will continue to serve the Galaxy into his twilight years.

Chancellor Binks led a life filled with adventure, promise and greatness. And he will lead the University of Naboo in the same direction.
